We take a closer look at capacitors, and derive the capacitor impedance formula. We derive the classic exponential behavior of a low pass filter using Laplace Transforms. We simulate the response in SWE, and confirm its accuracy. We show you how to think of filtering in the frequency domain, and show how the unique sampling-range overlay on SWE Bode charts leads to insights about all this.
